Is SS304 actually food-grade? Yes — SS304 (18% Cr, 8% Ni) is the standard food-contact grade specified by FSSAI, HACCP and US FDA for direct-contact food equipment. The body is brushed-finish, non-porous, and survives daily caustic / sanitiser wash-down.
