Yes — the standard rolls comply with BIS IS 10146 (specification for PVC in contact with foodstuffs). Polar-grade rolls for cold storage are dosed for flexibility at −25°C.
What thickness should I order for cold storage vs. a loading dock?
For freezer rooms (−18°C and below) use 3 mm polar-grade strips with 50% overlap. For chiller rooms (0°C to 8°C) use 2 mm standard. For warehouse dock doors with forklift traffic use 3 mm or 4 mm ribbed strips.
